Stryv Business Growth Partners and its clients have enjoyed a standout year at the 2025 Greater Springfield Chamber of Commerce (GSCC) Marquee Business Awards, with Frosteez Mobile Car Air Conditioning, Rising Sun Martial Arts and Stryv itself all recognised as finalists in their nominated categories and sharing four awards between them on the night.
The results highlight the strength of local service-based businesses in the Greater Springfield region and the impact that a strategic focus on reputation, customer experience and structured growth can have over time.
In a single photo that sums up the evening, Stryv founder Tye Hillam stands alongside Glen Wiltshire from Frosteez and Sam Pitts from Rising Sun Martial Arts, each holding their finalist awards and collectively displaying four trophies.
“Seeing our clients up on stage and recognised among the top businesses in their categories is much more satisfying than any standalone award Stryv could win,” Tye says. “Our goal is always to help owners build businesses they can be proud of, so nights like this are a real milestone.”
Frosteez Mobile Car Air Conditioning was named a finalist in two categories, the Best Customer Service Award and the Outstanding Small Business Award, reflecting its commitment to quality workmanship, clear communication and an exceptional customer experience backed by hundreds of five star reviews.
Rising Sun Martial Arts reached the finalist stage in the Lifestyle Award, recognising the positive impact the dojo has on students and families across the community through training, discipline and personal development.
Stryv Business Growth Partners was recognised as a finalist in the Members Choice Award, a category that reflects the regard held for Stryv among fellow GSCC members and the value it provides to established service-based business owners who want to grow in a sustainable, strategic way.
“Awards nights are nice, but they only happen because of what you do all year,” says Rising Sun Martial Arts owner, Sam Pitts. “We are grateful to our students, families and the broader Springfield community for their ongoing support.”
Alongside client success on the night, Tye returned as a judge across multiple GSCC award categories.
To preserve integrity and avoid any conflict of interest, he does not judge in categories where Stryv or its clients have submitted entries. This clear separation allows him to contribute his experience while ensuring that all entrants are assessed fairly.
Tye’s judging work is an extension of Stryv’s focus on reputation building, particularly through its Awards Accelerator service, which helps business owners identify relevant awards, prepare strong submissions and leverage their recognition in a way that supports long term growth.
“Awards are not about collecting trophies for the shelf,” Tye says. “Handled properly, they are a powerful way to tell your story, motivate your team and build trust with clients and referrers. Our role is to help owners do that in a structured, ethical and sustainable way.”
Beyond the awards night, Tye continues to serve on the GSCC Committee and in his role as Chief Chamber Champion, helping to strengthen the Chamber through:
“The GSCC is a vital part of the local business fabric,” says Tye. “It is a privilege to support the Chamber both as a Committee member and as a growth partner to the businesses that call Greater Springfield home.”
